EGM outcome

UKMSA held an EGM on 25th February to decide whether to change the organisation's name to Men's Sheds England to reflect the independance of other national Shed Associatons. After considerable discussion the proposal was not approved but it was agreed it would be raised again at the AGM when the points of view of all parties can best be considered.

A Shed Health Champion

A Frome Shedder has been trained by the local GP practice to become a Health Champion. If any Shedder wants advice our Health Champion spends time with them going through all the options, in terms of support groups or sources of information.  The information bank is maintained by a GP ‘Health Connector’  who our Health Champion can refer people when he …
