Many years ago I was a broker, I tried Zurich for our public liability and contents (£5000) and they charged £170. We have a workshop with all the equipment, I think it’s pretty much unbeatable as the nearest I got was £250.

I’d be very interested to hear from other Sheds about their experience of using the ‘approved’ insurer, Ladbrook either good or bad.

Currently seeking Insurance for newly formed shed. Ladbrooks have quoted £599! I have seen a similar shed’s policy from them at £240ish – do not know what is going on… Would love to hear what others are paying.

Bideford Men’s Shed have just erected a 6m x 3.5m wooden shed. Before we can start to use it we need insurance. I see from this forum that Zuric looks promising. So I shall try them. We believe that up to 6 people will be able to work in this shed at any one time.
We would welcome any one can add to our advice.
