The staff and trustees would like to wish all our volunteer Ambassadors, Supporters, Partners and Shedders a Merry Christmas. A huge thank you also to everyone who has sponsored, or made donations to UKMSA and to everyone that has supported Sheds. There have been some incredible feats undertaken and many more planned for the new year.
2022 has been an anxious year for many as we came out of the pandemic with an increasingly challenging political backdrop and the cost of living, however at the same time we have seen the Men’s Shed communities come closer together and support each other, with more Sheds opening, many for the first time.
As merry as Christmas can be for some, we know it may bring loneliness and isolation for others, please do keep you eyes open to those around who might be struggling, or try to be honest and recognise when you are struggling and reach out for help and support.
Although the UK Men’s Sheds office are closed from Friday 23rd December until Tuesday 3rd January, there are other organisations who are out there to help. Your mental health matters, so please do contact them out if you need someone to listen this festive season.
