Chatterbox is a telephone befriending service aimed at older people, those who are socially isolated, bereaved or caring for someone.
Due to the pandemic, their services are in higher demand than before.
To keep up with demand as volunteers are returning to work, they would like to know if Sheds and members of the public are interested in helping out?
There will be an induction after which you would be expected to call someone on a weekly basis for a chat, usually lasting about 30 minutes, and then completing a short online record form.
