Ripon Men’s Shed CIO is faced with an opportunity and a challenge. The “opportunity” is to purchase a property  they are renting from New Life Church, along with the now disused Church itself. Ripon Men’s Shed’s lease expires in 18 months.

 

Purchasing the whole property would give them security of tenure and provide them with the ability to significantly expand their workshop area, allowing them to increase membership and provide additional opportunities to carry out other craft-related activities 

 

The “challenge” is to raise £45,000 to meet the asking price and associated survey and legal fees before the closing date of 11th May 2024.
