Who can enter?
The Awards are open to all UK Men’s Sheds Association member Sheds.
Nominations are also accepted for UKMSA member Sheds by non members.
When do entries open for UK Men’s Sheds Awards?
Entries are open 24th August to 27th September 2026
Can we enter more than one category??
Yes. You can submit entries for multiple categories if your nomination meets the relevant criteria. Please submit one entry form per category.
Can we enter more than once for a specific category?
Yes. You can submit multiple projects for one category. Please submit one entry form per project
Is there a fee to enter?
No. Entry to the UK Men’s Sheds Awards is completely free.
Can I nominate another Shed?
Yes. We welcome nominations from individuals, Sheds and partner organisations.
Do I need to complete a separate application for Shed of the Year?
No. There is a tick box and further supporting information box on the application form if you to enter for The Shed of The Year.
What makes a strong entry?
The best entries clearly demonstrate:
- What you did
- Why it mattered
- Who benefited
- The impact it had
- What makes your Shed special
Can new Sheds enter?
Absolutely. We encourage entries from Sheds of all sizes and stages of development.
When will winners be announced?
Winners will be revealed at the UK Men’s Sheds Awards Ceremony on 19th November at Baskerville House, Centenary Square, Birmingham, B1 2ND
Who is invited to the Awards Ceremony
All finalists will be invited to the UK Men’s Sheds Awards Ceremony on 19th November at Baskerville House, Centenary Square, Birmingham, B1 2ND (2 places per Shed).
What do you win?
Each category winner will receive a custom-made trophy, a framed certificate and tie pins.
